Round 29: In Conversation with David O'Mahony

February 22nd 2026

ACTING FOR SCREEN

A workshop for actors and directors

Sunday 22nd February / 12:30 - 18:00 / At the Roundy / 20€

From the basics to shooting a short scene, David will take participants through the foundations of acting for screen. This workshop will be a safe space to take your first steps into screen acting or hone existing skills. With a focus on bringing out a good performance David will also help directors experience what it's like to be in front of the camera - a held space for an honest dialogue between actors and directors - or even actors who wish to understand the role of the director. It will be an afternoon of relaxed, constructive fun with an opportunity to work and get to know fellow filmmaking enthusiasts, students and professionals. We will get in contact with you to please provide a CV, headshot and short bio after booking so David can send scenes in advance.
